Sunrise Shopping
As he wakens during the sunrise, he remembered he had to stop at the market for some food. As he makes his descent from Palatine Hill, he see’s the Roman Forum and The Tiber River. From going down Palatine Hill, he sees many others going through the Forum doing their daily errands. As he makes his way through the Forum, he sees the small but prominent temple of Vesta as the white marble shines in the light. He also sees the shrine of Regia which where the King lives. As he continues his journey to the market he sees the two arches of Arcus Augsti which honor Augustus. Even though he was awawke by sunrise, Basilica Aemilia is very busy, merchants to the left and right, selling necessities and other goods. His feet hurt from the loose gravel that is road of the market, his sandals are thin and do not provide much support. He looks up above to the second level of the Basilica, also full of merchants and civilians, where he hopes to find his needs. He goes up the steps passing the large archways, he treks into the great basilica hall. He notices the accompaniment of cipollino and africano columns based by white marble. As he goes deeper into the hall he hopes to find his needs.
