From Palatine Hill

From Palatine Hill

Ethan woke up this morning excited to do the shopping list he had created last night and he knew he would have a nice walk from the Palatine Hill down the market. Ethan lives on one of the Seven Hills of Rome, Palatine Hill. Atop of this hill he can see many things including the Tiber River that he can see in this distance. He wished he could take a walk by the river but today he had to go buy for what was needed at home. Down hill he went towards Velia. He encountered many hills, up and down which were getting him a little tired. As he kept walking he saw a lot of commotion occurring at the Roman Forum and he saw a sort of politicians shouting out their ideas. He ignored it, as he did not care what was going on with these politicians. He kept walking and suddenly he spotted the Temple of Vesta and decided to stop and entered from the entrance facing east. He was amazed to see the temple made of marble. He did not want to leave but he knew he had to keep walking and get to his destination. Then he finally arrived at the Forum Boarium and saw the Basilica Sempronia. He saw his shopping list one more time and read, bread, corn, meat, oil, wine, then he saw his favorite vendors and decided to greet them and buy his needs. He finally bought everything he needed and now it was time to head back to Palatine Hill. On his way back he decided to stop at the Temple of Vesta again because he could not resist looking at its circular footprint. It was time to keep walking and head home.
