Rome was growing tremendously due to the victories and conquests of Julius Caesar. As Rome grew in power so did the jeoulsy of the congress men around him . In order, to take down Caesar these men came together and ultimately assassinated Caesar. My story focuses on Caesar’s daughter who manages to cross over gender boundaries and becomes the successor to the Roman throne. Octavia , the daughter of Ceasar was known as one of the most beautiful women on Palentine hill. As she grew older men came from various empires seeking her hand in marriage . Even so , she was quick to turn them down due to her free spirited mind and unwillingness to leave her father side. Much like her father Octavia was a strong intelligent women who gain the respect of those around her. She was often seen as Cesar apprentice following him around the castle ,when time allowed, always interested in the inner working of the Roman empire. When she heard about her fathers death she fell in a sudden and very deep depression . This sorrow eventually fueled to anger and she sought revenge on the men that had killed her father. Knowing her limitations as a women and her inability to maneuver through the higher ranks of Rome leadership she had a thought . A thought that would change Roman history and her life forever. She fled the comfort and luxiere of Palentine Hill with the knowledge that one day she would return as the avenger of father . Years after a man named Augustus appeared at the house of the morned Ceasar . Claiming to be the nephew of Ceasar and seeking shelter in the castle. Agustus was seen as a stern man not one to show much emotion. His eyes were piercing and intimating and many were quick to look away. Augustus’ attitude, demeanor, and overall charisma were the ones of a born leader a true descendant of Ceasar. Unknown to all was that Augusts and Octavia were one in the same . Octavia had returned impersonating a male of power in order to reach the ranks of Senator and fullfill her destiny of not only avenging her father but taking back the throne winch rightfully belong to him .
