Assignment 2 - Palatine Hill to Market

As usual, he rises early to prepare his chores. His life always consists of hard work and monotony. He steps out of the house, which is wooden shack with dirt floor, and admiring grandeur his master’s house. He gradually tries to get down the Palatine Hill toward Roman Forum. It is surrounded with strong and large stone walls to protect from enemy. They often invade crossing the Tiber River.
Closing the city, it is changing atmosphere with noise of footstep and talking. Moving into the Forum, he cannot control his shock from splendid buildings and people. The Temple of Vesta stands on the way and the Regia that is the residence of the kings. And people thronging the Forum stop and listen, then wander away to do their shopping, and perhaps leave a gift at a temple for one of their gods. He realizes he has wasted time admiring these scenes, so he hurries to move toward the Basilica Aemilia to complete his work.
When he approaches the Basilica Aemilia, the market is bustling with life. Even some people are running over the rough ground. After he purchases what he needs, he sometimes drops by at the Comitium because many speakers crowd within the Comitium, and directing their speech from the Rostra to the crowd in the Forum. Then he checks that he purchased his items again, and returns to Palatine Hill.
