Temple of Portunus (Temple of Fortuna Virilis)
This is a rectangular, classic Ionic temple of Ancient Rome,
located in the Forum Boarium and overlooking the Tiber River. The temple was
built in 75 B.C.E and restored later in the 1st century. This temple consists
of a cella and portico raised on a podium, which are reached by a flight of
steps.
