Assignment #7

After traveling around the Roman Empire through out the week due to business matters, Quintus, a well-known Roman senator is back home with his wife and well-trusted slave Titus. Being so busy with political matter, Quintus tells Titus to be ready the next morning because they are going to go watch a theatrical event, after all, the weekend was about to begin. The next morning, Titus woke up early and made his way down to the market place to get groceries. Hours later Quintus had awaken and had breakfast with his wife. As the sun passed across the sky, Quintus got ready and was excited to go see a play. Once they got to the theater they were seated and the show was ready to start. As in most plays, some of the characters were an old lady, old man, a slave, a young boy and a beautiful young girl. The typical theme of the play was about the young boy being in love with the beautiful young lady. Quintus was a huge fan of plays and loved to see a play every weekend. Another thing he loved were chariot races. Good thing for him, every Sunday, the city has chariot races and Quintus would not miss it for anything in the world. Every time he went out of the city, he did everything he could to get back home before Sunday. The day had reached its end but the weekend had just started. The next day was Quintus favorite day because it was the day the city held chariot races, but the best thing of all, though it wouldn’t matter to someone who is a senator, the events were free to the public. This meant anyone could enjoy and have something that could entertain them. That day Quintus and Titus spent the whole day watching chariot races and in the end went back home to get some rest and get ready for the week to come.
