CHARACTERS
Gaiua Vespillo:
Both intelligent and beautiful, Gaiua is the
epitome of desirable. With just the
glance of her, one would fall in love instantly. The way the sun glistens off her lightly
golden skin and the way her light green and sparkling blue eyes compliment her long
flowing blonde hair makes every man in the city Rome make a double take. Her
smile is both simple and exaggerating; the calming smooth laughter that escapes
her soft rounded lips captures the attention of every man and woman in
town. Although she is in her late teens,
she is exceptionally gifted. Having been
born into a wealthy Equestrian family, she masters multiple instruments and her
artistic skills are superb. She can sing
absolutely wonderfully with her soft calm melody and on top of that, her dancing
is very complimentary. Gaiua isn’t a conceded
and rude woman, as many would expect a gorgeous, wealthy girl to be. She carries herself in a respectful manner
and seems to possess many qualities that other people of her time. She can come off shy, but she tends to be
more reserved. As is always thinking of
the future, he answers every question in a constructive and expounding
manner. She cares a great deal for her
family, especially her father. Love and
care as well compassion are both her strong and weak point. Striving to make everyone both happy and
proud she constantly finds herself in trouble trying to please everyone. All in all, Gaiua happens to be the most
desired and most respected woman.
Publius Gaius Vespillo:
The father of Gaiua, Publius is one
of the most well off men of the Equestrian class. He is extremely wealthy and works hard for
his money. Publius is a firm believer of
hard work and working your way up, although he is already wealthy. Although he can come off strict and cruel, he
has the best intentions in his mind for his daughters and family. He is a well-built older man, though lacking
the typical elder qualities. He is a
tall, tan and strong man. He has brown
hair but sometimes the blonde is apparent and he has solid, serious green
eyes. He has a deep and commanding voice
that many people cannot help but to listen to.
Both a motivational speaker and dedicated worker in town, he has gained
many friends throughout his lifetime and everyone respects him. He is externally seen as a strong willed man,
who does not take no for an answer, but in reality, rather internally, he cares
deeply for his daughters and wife and loves them dearly.
Lucius Tulius Scaevola:
Being one of the most powerful men
of Rome, Senator Lucius Tulius Scaevola is widely known. He isn’t a terrible
man but he carries himself with an intimidating demeanor. Both extremely tall and slender he literally
and figuratively sees over the city with an iron fist; he gets things done on
time and determinately. Lucius is a
strong-willed man who, having been born into the highest ranking class, gets
what he wants, when he wants. Although
he is bossy and powerful, he has a loving and compassionate part of his heart
that e desperately tries to mask through his power.
Maximus Latro:
The long time slave of Publius,
Maximus is by far the most appreciated character. Having put up with so much in his life, being
born into slavery, working diligently for little or no benefits and constantly
degraded he possess many qualities that seem out of place. He is polite and respectful and
responsible. He never talks back, always
the first man to offer and volunteer to help, assist and perform. He is extremely handsome, tall and muscular. He is of a darker complexion and has dark
brown hair and the most gorgeous smile anyone has ever seen. He is very compelling and has an inflection
in his voice that makes himself seem reliable and honest-which he most definitely
is. Maximus is the liaison between the
slaves and hid owner, Publius. Publius
takes good care of his slaves but he still needs a leader, which he considers
to me Maximus. Their relationship is
what confuses many people in their town but it is one to be cherished. Maximus is compassionate, loving and
intelligent. He has learned many things and teaches his learned knowledge to
other slaves. He truly is and impressive
man.
